William Recupero, DO

Dr. William D. Recupero is an experienced, Board-certified physician specializing in Otolaryngology (disorders of the ears, nose, and throat).  He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, after which he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.  He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Dr. Recupero trained in General Surgery and then completed his Residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, both at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.  He then completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  Dr. Recupero practiced Otolaryngology in various Armed Forces facilities while on active duty, and was deployed in Iraq in 2010 (Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn).  His academic credentials include being Assistant Professor of Surgery and Section Chief at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and at Eastern Virginia Medical School prior to moving to Massachusetts.  Over the past decade, he has developed a reputation as an outstanding Otolaryngologist in central and southeastern Massachusetts.  

Dr. Recupero is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery.  He is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology, and the American Association of Military Surgeons of the United States (AMSUS).
